Come join us for an evening of remembrance and great music as we honor Bernard Herman, ‘08 and the city which he loved so much–New Orleans.

Throughout the night we will be reading some of Bernard’s writings, celebrating New Orleans culture, and raising money to help New Orleans organizations rebuild and revitalize the city.  The schedule for the coffeehouse is TBA, but if you would like to take part in honoring Bernard or in helping with the event, please e-mail Yael Mazor at ymazor@brandeis.edu. This is an opportunity for the entire campus to honor Bernard’s life and memory and we encourage anyone who would like to participate to do so.

Suggested donation is $2 and all proceeds will directly benefit Common Ground, an organization which provides short term relief for victims of hurricane disasters in the Gulf Coast region, and long term support in rebuilding the communities affected in the New Orleans area.
