Volunteer with JDC’s Short-Term Service Program in Israel
DEADLINE EXTENDED UNTIL NOVEMBER 4TH!
As active Jewish citizens, we must ensure that the needs of underprivileged Israeli populations are being met. The American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC) brings vital relief to Israel’s most vulnerable—the elderly, new immigrants, children at-risk, Arab Israelis—and to all sectors of the community. You can take part in addressing these vital needs.
For ten days this January, join a select group of Brandeis students to lend a hand to underserved Israelis!
* Refurbish bomb shelters
* Tutor at- risk children in after school programs
* Repair homes of elderly in need
* Work with Israeli volunteers
…and LEARN about challenges facing Israel’s most vulnerable citizens and how JDC in partnership with the Israeli government works to make Israel even stronger
