Hillel Theatre Group (HTG), one of the largest and most active theatre groups on campus, is the only theatre group that does not rehearse or perform on Shabbat or Jewish holidays. HTG produces a play in the fall and a musical in the spring. All who audition for the spring musical are guaranteed a role.

Manginah is Hillel’s co-ed a cappella group. Performing original, contemporary, and traditional songs in Hebrew, English, and Yiddish, Manginah regularly performs on campus to enthusiastic audiences on- and off-campus.
Mitzvah Clowning is a fun group of students who learn clowning techniques and dress up as clowns to visit hospitals, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and cancer patients.
Nashim is the Jewish Women’s group on campus, and invites both traditionalists and feminists to join and to attend programs including a Women’s prayer group and new month (Rosh Chodesh) celebrations.
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) is an innovative non-denominational learning community that networks students to partners from different backgrounds to engage in learning Jewish texts in pairs.
Sunday’s Bread provides opportunities for students to work in a soup kitchen one Sunday each month. Volunteers assist in all aspects of preparing and serving meals to the homeless, and participate in a truly rewarding and purposeful way with members of the Boston community.
