Brandeis University Interfaith Leadership Development
Fellows Program.
Our Mission:
Preparing committed and interreligiously-aware leaders for Brandeis, U.S. society, and the global community of the 21st century, by building bridges of understanding, inquiry, and action on campus and beyond.
Our Community:
Join a select group of Brandeis students from various traditions and many spheres of student leadership. Together we will launch a unique year-long journey, which will include retreats, lively group discussions, presentations, engaging off-campus visits, cultural events, and designing projects in your chosen leadership fields (advocacy, journalism, government, the arts, education, business, science, etc.)
Open to:
Students of all faith traditions, with special encouragement to those representing the historic Abrahamic faiths (Judaism, Christianity, and Islam). Students should exhibit potential for, or involvement in, student leadership in various spheres of campus life.

The Brandeis Chaplaincy and Hillel and endorsed by a wide Project Consortium of university offices and programs.

Program Goals:
· To equip students from diverse faith traditions with the skills to successfully understand and engage religious differences on campus and in the wider world
· To engage students already active in interfaith dialogue and to include those new to this critical emerging field
· To develop key leadership skills such as constructive dialogue, listening, group facilitation, conflict transformation, analysis, program design, and direct service.
· To empower students in campus-wide leadership by providing occasions for reflection, spiritual growth, and cross-cultural and interreligious exposure.
