APPLY FOR A GRANT FROM THE BRANDEIS PLURALISM ALLIANCE (BPA)
Are you or your student club/organization interested in organizing a project or event that promotes issues of pluralism and identity at Brandeis in September 2010? If you are planning an event that will occur before September 28, we invite you to apply for a grant by the “off-cycle” deadline of Sunday, April 25.  We are making this special opportunity available, because we know that the regular September 15, 2010 BPA application deadline is too late for some event and budget planning that needs to be in place early in the fall.
For more information about the BPA and grant opportunities, visit the BPA website at www.brandeis.edu/das/pluralism, or contact a member of the BPA steering committee.  The application is available online at www.brandeis.edu/das/pluralism, and of course we also invite you to apply for funding next September 15, for events scheduled during academic year 2010-11.

VOTE FOR A GLOBAL GIVING GRANT CANDIDATE
Did you ever think that in less than one minute you could:
· Provide 500 women in Afghanistan with job training skills?
· Provide 100 families in Zimbabwe with irrigation kits for farming?
· Helps save the endangered orangutans in Indonesia?
· Provide solar lighting for 12,500 villagers in Tanzania?
It’s true, you can! The students in the Practicing Philanthropy course at the Heller School have identified the four projects listed above as candidates to receive up to $10,000 in funding, but they want you to decide who should get the most funding!
Click on the link below by April 28th and vote for the project you believe is most deserving of a Global Giving grant. You can even make a donation yourself that they’ll match, up to $5,000. No donations are required in order to vote though, so please vote, today!
